Mentoring lies at the heart of TiE’s Mission of fostering conscious entrepreneurship and is an important part of the commitment TiE’s Charter Members make to emerging entrepreneurs.

Mentoring Sessions
It involves a one-on-one interaction between a senior entrepreneur/professional and an entrepreneur who needs guidance and advice from someone who has an educated view on the subject or more experience on the topic under discussion. These sessions cover any and all aspects of a member’s needs including business plan creation and presentation, fund raising, operational guidance and business development. There are no additional fees associated with this program.
Charter members are available through the year for these mentoring sessions that typically last for an hour per session. Appointments are scheduled at a mutually convenient time.
Entrepreneurs looking for a mentoring session need to apply for the same through an online application form and mail it back to Shabnam@tiemumbai.org along with:

•    Business Plan (if mentoring is for funding/finance related)
•    Proposals
•    Curricula Vitae
•    Company Profile
•    Statement of purpose

Mentoring Clinics
Mentoring clinics are held once every quarter. At these clinics, a large number of charter members as well as other invitees (e.g. senior professionals, entrepreneurs outside the TiE network, academicians, etc.) spend half a day mentoring entrepreneurs in 30-45 minute sessions.

Entrepreneur Nurturing Program
The Entrepreneur Nurturing Program (ENP) is a 6-month sustained mentoring initiative that enables TiE members, to seek holistic guidance in key enterprise challenge areas through a series of structured multi-activity mentor-mentee engagements. It is aimed at helping provide access to:

•    Guidance
•    Capital
•    Services
•    Market Access

The ENP will enable entrepreneurs (mentees) to request mentoring across enterprise challenges like

•    Funding or Finance management
•    Starting-up or Scaling-up
•    Strategy, Marketing and Sales
•    HR challenges
•    Corporate formation and Legal issues

To maintain focus, however, participants will be able to request mentoring for any one challenge at a time. Once the mentoring and feedback loop on this challenge is completed, they can proceed onto the next challenge.
