Innovative delivery of flowers was the premise on which Smriti founded Florista India. With a product range that includes exotic flower arrangements in glass vases, ceramic vases, wrought iron and a special 2 carat gold rose made of pure gold foil, the company has made receiving as well as gifting flowers and experience. It broke new ground with the singing florigram, a concept through which one can deliver flowers along with two singers who multiply the joy of receiving flowers manifold. Highly trained delivery boys and singers backed by a unique call centre facility are the hallmarks of Florista.
Leaving a comfortable job with a top IT company to start Florista wasn’t easy for Smriti. Coupled with the initial hiccups such as management, collection and payment of bills sure did tilt the scales against her idea. However, Smriti’s love for flowers and her single-minded focus on the venture has seen Florista go a long way.
