I think the fact that the company I work for was set up by 2 women entrepreneurs is (an) evidence of the growing significance of women entrepreneurs and I have had a first hand experience. I have seen that over the past 5 to 7 years there has been a surge in women entrepreneurs in all walks of life in corporate India. These areas / sectors are creative organizations such as advertising, PR, retail organization, business and hospitality services, food services, health and fitness etc., The interesting thing is that its not only young women but women across all age groups are bitten by the entrepreneurship bug. The intrinsic nurturing and hospitable nature of women gives them a huge advantage in terms of relating to people.
